Funny...summer and everyone brings their cars OUT to work on them, but I have to bring mine in to the A/C to do anything. And can't stand driving it.

Then in the winter, I am out riding and enjoying the wind in my hair...

    I wasn't into the car.

I got a jet boat and ended up messing with that, and not focusing on the car at all. I would start it maybe once a month to charge the battery and assure myself that it did, in fact, still run.

Then once a month I would mop up the transmission fluid off the floor, except for one month where I found it had flowed out from under the garage door and was now on the driveway.

Anyway, my nephew came over a couple weeks back, and he had never seen his great-great-grandmother's car. we sit in it and start it up, and the little 8-year old says "Wow!! I love the way it sounds. So when are we going to ride in it?"

I was floored. I took him to a drag strip (another first) the following weekend and decided that it is time to get this thing back on the road and not let it sit any longer.

I have been "hovering" on the forum, but not really involved with the car at all.

    So, I am BACK!
