Short burn out/ long boilling burn out ?? PSI ?? Thanks in Advance Coop
Tires Hi, Things get pricey when you go beyond fifteen inch wheels. Nitto 555R Drag Radials for a 15" diameter wheel come in widths that will fill your stock wheel wells. People I know like them. I am Mini Tubbing so I can't give you exact numbers. A lot of people here like the Mickey Thompson Drag Radials that come in number of different d.o.t. models. In my not so humble opinion, the BFG T/A Drag Radials are just plain junk - they never hook up. I am not a Hoosier fan but others here would strongly disagree. So, there you have my two cents' worth. Its not how much horsepower you can make. Its how much of it you can hook up to the asphalt. Go quick. David
Thanks guys, The widest tire I can get under my car is a 28x11.50 15 MT ET Street. Not sure of my back spacing off hand.
i got hoosier quick time pros only used a like 4 times still have runs on tem but they came with my car so im going to use them up.
I've 275/60-15's and they fit without rubbin on the outside with rolled lips, I heard 295-50-15's will fit with 4.5" of backspacing on the wheels... So 285/70s should be fine with rolled lips and the right wheel.
285/70/15 ?? Kind of an odd size. Won't go under a maverick. Stick with the 275/60's. They'll fit no problem.
I also run 275 60-15 MT's and they hook like a...well, let me just say I broke a mini spool one night and popped an axle another. I'm running the ET Streets and love them!!! Oh...no clearance problems at all. Perfect fit!
what about with? i have 15x10 ansons and a 1" thick adapter what tiers will be cheapest and fit? and will it stick out too far? this is going to be a pure street rod with big meats on the back.
