    I bought mine in 1978.

I believe there is an original owner of 71 Grabber in Georgia.

First 72 Grabber (my Wife's) 1977 to 1984 R.I.P. The second 72 Grabber (mine) I bought in 2005 from original owner in Wakeeney, Kansas. Long ways to get a maverick but I had to have it

I placed a factory order for my Grabber on May 21, 1971, and took delivery on July 12, 1971. I was 17 and just graduated high school. I think this old polaroid was taken only a few days after I got it.

I bought my '71 Grabber when it was two years old. I just bought my current '72 Maverick from a guy in California in May but it will stay around a lot longer than my 1st one did. I'd like to think I'm older and wiser now...

Damn, I'm an idiot. How the heck did I forget about you! :slap:

My grandma bought a '69.5 new in the fall of '69. It was a 170/three on the tree car. Just bought it as a cheap commuter car for driving around Indianapolis. She traded it in on a new '77 Thunderbird. It's probably the only car my grandparents have had in the past 50+ years that we don't have a picture of.
