    Hey yall,
It looks like I'll be going by myself to hunt for this thing (minus my dad's tools). I have some sockets and wrenches but anything special I should bring other than that.
Also, should I get the leafs off the car?

If it's disc/drum M/C, should I grab that for my mav? I don't know if ti interchanges...

EDIT: Put some wrenches on the rearend at my house to see what I need to bring to the yard. I have no idea how the driveshaft connects/is fastened to the rear end. hopefully, I will find out! Will report back.

you need a 1/2 wrench to undo the u-bolts that hold on the drive shaft. use a screwdriver wedged in the u-joint to keep it from turning. the parking brake cables can be the hardest to get out. you can undo the adjuster that is under the car near the trans. that takes two 1/2 wrenches normaly. also some vice grips will help. just cut the rubber brake line. take some penatrateing oil of some sort and spray the u bolts that hold the diff to the leaf springs before you try to take them off. the nuts on those u bolts can be 3/4 13/16 or 7/8. if you have bolt cuters use them on the parking brake cables.
