...and in my case the seller actually confirmed that he hasn't sent out anything yet. i wouldn't be so angry if he had sent me a tracking number so i can check the ups website every day - but it looks like he hasn't even made the tach yet!

    did two things today:

claimed buyer protection with paypal, as time was running out there as well. after filing the case, you have 20 days to claim buyer protection. immediate result was a message through ebay like the last, reading as follows:

the seller refuses to communicate through paypal to settle the case. but it seems that he has my money and spent on who knows what and can't deliver the tach.

second thing i did was getting in touch with the brazilian wife of a friend who will give the seller a call today. let's hope he is able to give a good explanation when confronted with the claim in portugese!

For what it's worth - I bought a couple things from him, it did take over 1 month but I received what I ordered.

Good luck - hope it all works out in the end.

    :)

in my case, it's exactly two months now. and he has confirmed that he hasn't even made or shipped the tach yet.

my friend told me that he presented the same story to her - and she tends to believe him. he obviously had health problems, but it's the "i don't have any money to refund you" part that makes me a little nervous. that and the fact that correspondence with him was non existing - until i filed the complaint.

    i'll keep you guys updated!
