Door weatherstrip retainer, bottom of door

    I was just noticing that some of my doors have a metal strip retainer at the bottom of the door to help hold the weatherstipping in place. Some doors don't. Is it worth the effort to drill out the spot welds and put it on the door that doesn't have it?

    I have never seen a door without one. I would want one.

    You would want the door without one? LOL, Thanks craig. guess I'll be drilling spotwelds tomorrow
