    and if i remember correctly from nap time, i mean school, ford had the first v-8's, correct? if so, then V-8
    and ford did in a way spawn Henry J's and Edsels. those too.
    "A", as in Model A.

    Chevrolet had a V8 in 1917. Fords Flathead V8 came out in 1932.


    The Henry J was not a Ford. It was manufactured by Kaiser. (named after Henry J. Kaiser)

    Cadillac had a V-8 in 1912 as did Durant and Locomobile along with a french manufacturer (cant remember the name of it though)

    daytona coup They made what? 6 of them. Or shelby did anyway and Ford powered products like Pantera, Mongusta,(sp) Detomosa sure did get pissed at Shelby for going with AC to build his chassis. Sunbeam Tiger, Griffith? or was it Griffin? I had a buddy totally destroy one of those showing off one day. The body shattered like glass.
