VIN help

    Hey guys,

    I just got the title for my 71 mav and have the vin. The door tag needs some csi work to be read as I don't want to mess up the tag and loose the info.
    I am trying to use the maverick vin decoding info but maybe I'm missing something.
    VIN: 1X93T325XXX
    1 -1971
    X - made in St. Thomas (what state that be in?)
    93 - GRABBER!?!?!
    T- 200 I6
    I thought there was some info in the vin about month and decade. I don' see a "D."

    There is nothing in the VIN about the month or decade. You're thinking about part numbers. Did you not know this car is a Grabber?

    St.Thomas is a city in Ontario, Canada.
    The assembly plant is actually in a town called Talbotville, well the Ford plant (itself) is the town...

    wow. lots of post. Idk it was a grabber until about 5 secs ago. SWEET!
    and Canadian eh? SWEET! Awesome day.

    Oh the decode site is not exactly straight forward, for me at least. It made it seem like there was some date info in the vin.

    GRABBER! SWEET
