I wouldn't get groceries in my Hemi Plymouth Superbird. I wouldn't haul the kids around in my Boss 429 Mustang. I think of both as musclecars. Not sure why people get so worked up over definitions anyway.
Well that's quite alright then, the next time I smoke a Camaro I'll just tellem they got dusted by an "economy car".
I consider the Maverick Grabber as a "SPORTY" car and the regular Mav as a jazzy economy car. Yep. Thats how I see 'em. Wouldn't change a thing about them from the factory. Except a Boss 302/ 4-speed option for a limited run and.......................
With my Collector plates I can drive my car anytime anywhere every day if I want...Glad I don't live in your state....
In MD we have the same restrictions on collector plates, however, its not enforced. I've been running these tags for years. There's not a day goes by that you dont see these tags going down the road no matter what the weather. We can also do a 1 time registration on a set of original vintage tags (tags that have the year stamped on them). Dosent help Mavericks and Comets much because in 71 MD went to the sticker system but if your car is 70 or older and you can find a set of peiod tags, they can leagally be put on your car. I have a set of 1957 tags in my Ranchero.
