We had a very small meet (Just two of us) here in Maine on Sunday. It was just myself and NH State Rep. George Thibeault, but it was a good time. It was also a good day for Mavericks and George at the show. He won a trophy and his wife won the 50/50 raffle!! Very Cool . His trophy is a huge achievement for the Maverick, since the category was for all makes from 1961 to 1978! That's a lot of competition to go up against. After the show, we cruised to the Nubble Lighthouse and took a few shots of the cars in front of it. I've attached one of the photos. Check it out. ATTN. Russ: Would this photo qualify for the "Mavericks Across America"? If so, I'll send you a bigger one.
Any meet is a good one, in my opinion, regardless of size. Glad you guys had a good day. Congrats to George!!
It was a fun show, lots of nice cars, just two Mavericks. I was amazed when my name was called for a trophy in such a broad category. Thank you Robert for inviting us, we had a great time.
Cool thats a great shot! Send me a copy and we'll include it in MaA. Gerorge Congrats on the trophy! Russ
