    hi my name is barry , i have a 76 comet that i am going to use for , parts this past weekend . i got a 1970 maverick a lot of work has, been done. a 5.0 v8. i am looking fowerd to it, my dad had a new 71 maverick.me and dad where very close.he learned me to drive, in it he passed away 9-19-1979. my mom could not drive the car .she sold it to me i drove it 4 years when my son was born i brot .my son home in it. i have missed my maverick for along time. now i can start over .i am working on maverick a little at a time. work in side right now. it starting to take shap. i am haveing fun with it. doing what i can when i can looked up the vin number it is a 69 1/2 maverick it was bilet in apr of 1969 i got the sheftrer out of a 73 pinto the new cluster out of a 71 maverick& the light swich& wiper swich&the crossmember for the maverick last week 5/27/2010 i the block in my wired up and tured it over for the first time. i put the cluster in and the right door panel on the brakes are up now i am puting the left door panel togather. it made me feel good to here the moter turn over for the first time it is comeing to gather

    where to start.the inside are all out the 5.0v8 is in not runing the 4 speed is in do you , thinnk the in side wood be a good start. floor pans are good

    the maverick the floorpans are done. I have been working on the dash.the dash is panted all so the trim on the doors.are panted and the side panels. I have done it black. I took the backseat&panels. Out my 76 momet thats my parts car. It stell runs but i am going to part it out.:)
