pick n pull 3G alternator what alll do i take

    going to pick n pull today and need to know what all i need // out of a 93 taurus i took the fan from it and the alt looks new i am going to test it with my drill ?

    Take it to Advance or Autozone or O'Reilly and they will be glad to test it for you. Don't know of a way to test it in the yard.

    all u need is the alternator, and regulator plug. just cut the wiring and leave enough to splice into. like Earl said, take it to your favorite parts house and they'll test it for free. check the tech articles section for the wiring and write-up

    Easy install, just get the MEGA fuse and holder as described in the writeup. I used a 125A, charges great and installed straightforward. You could even get one from the taurus and trim the top lug, still works fine.

    just got back from the pick n pull i paid $30.19 out the door for the alternator :bananaman:bananaman:bananaman:D

    just got done with the swap and works great

    i didn't have to add any spacers or add metal to the bottom bracket just bolted up and wired it and done and my head lights don't get dim when i turn my beat up /1650 wats with a one farret compasiter and the head lights are way brighter even with the stereo up WOW THAT IS SSWWWWWEEEEEETTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
