Well, I purchased a 1972 Mav that I found on craigslist for $700. It has a 302 with auto tranny (floor shift), but is not original to the car. It has all the grabber stuff, but four lug in the front and five in the back. Aftermarket Holley Carb and intake. Needs tranny rebuilt (easy) and the hole in the hood fixed, but I'll let the pics tell the story.

80% of production in St.Thomas (Canada) has always been shipped to the USA, and those "Transport Canada" are on every car. It's really no different than most Mavericks.

Well, that should keep you busy for a while. It doesn't appear to be too rusty from what can be seen in the pics. Shame somebody cut a hole in that Grabber hood but it car be repaired. Did the watermelon come with the deal?

i have no problems with the hole in the hood except for the fact that its not centered at all. It looks like a 5 minute cut job. Not time was putt into it.

I was thinking of stripping it down and using the parts for my Comet.

There is alot of bondo hiding in all that sea of yellow. As for the whole canadian thing, I was unaware there was that many made up there, I knew they did.

never heard of fenton shark rims? so, I don't know. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do with the car, I might sell some of the parts and keep the stuff I want. Before buying it, I wanted the v8 for the comet. We will see what happens.

Even my Pinto wagon was Canadian built and shipped to Texas, where it has always been. The buck tag near the radiator gives away the Canadian heritage.
