Looking for a v8 radiator after i took the 180 thermostate out of the car and put in the stock one (was running too cold) and boy what a difference in power(y)

As the previous owner clamed with the 250 radiator.. at 70 mph the temp guage went up to 210 degrees. The same happened with the new motor (which i figured) But is this too hot? Or should i not be worried?

Went on that rockauto.com to look for a stock maverick radiator and it was $170. Any other car radiators that i can use??? Mabey a mustang one???

For those who will pm me about their radiators for sale im looking for one that was resently flushed... no rusty radiators, ill pass on that:D

    Thanks:Handshake

It's a lot colder up here in Utah year round so I've always used a 190 thermostat. I like my heat up north, old radiator or the new Champion mine has always read 210 until the cooler temperatures of late it doesn’t run as hot.

find a good used 3 row (Raymond has some) or buy a new aluminum one from Champion :yup: the stock 2rows are barely abale to keep the 6poppers cool

I went to Jegs and bought one of their universal aluminum rads. I had to do a little fabrication because I originally had a six shooter, but it wasn't really all that hard. It ran me about 160.00. I can't remember the exact size, but http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/52015/10002/-1 is what it looks like.
