    Nice oval window! I always wanted a splittie or oval. And a nice Ghia, too! Another one I always wanted. I fooled with VDubs for years, had a 67, a 71, a 72, and a 73 Super. Never got a Ghia or bus though. I too got burned out on them. I sold all my VW stuff, parts cars and spare parts I had saved up through the years. Invested it all in my Maverick, and been a happy camper ever since!

    yeah VDubs were cool! thanks for all the compliments on it...I finally got some pics of the car without the stripe. let me know what you guys think... I havent had any luck finding something similar in my price range...

    i unlike everyoneels it seems like the blue bumpers the only problem i really had with the stripe was how it went to flame thing in the back

    either way great looking maverick and happy motoring with it :chirp:

    Buy it you wont regret it,Looks like the gentlemen did some nice work to it and took care of it and must have talent to get that stripe off and repaint ect so fast..
