Can someone please post up pics of both 2 door and 4 door rear seats? I am curious to see what the difference is.

What is this seat from?? 4 door maybe??

    Thanks,
    Glenn

That looks like 64-68 Mustang to me,... might be Mav... some cars around 1974 had a pattern similar to that.

I have a 73 two door and that looks dead on mine, minus the color.

Maybe someone will post a 4 door pic for you if they are different.

    Thanks Gaston.

The reason for the question is because these don't match what I have. I have done some research to find that these are for a car with the retractable seat belts.

    Car Nut,

Do you have a pre-72 car? If so, yes, the side panels are different and the rear seat is not scalloped as much as the 72 and on rear seat. The scallops are to match the later side panel that incorporate the seat belts.

BTW, my car is an early 72 ... has the seat belts in the side panel, but no retractors ... just fed through there.

    Thanks for the input Capt.,

    Long story short...

My car is a 72. The seat and rear panels I have came from another car and were never in my car. I bought this as a basket case with boxes of parts. Someone on here was interested in trading my seat set for theirs. But when I looked at their picture ( the one shown) I noticed it didn't match mine.

I have now come to realize that I have a car with the retractable seat belts, and the seat and side panels I have don't work together. So now I need to either buy a different rear seat and side panels or replace the retractables with earlier lap belts.

This is what happens when you buy a puzzle. I am used to building street rods so this isn't a huge problem. It was just unexpected.

73-74 pattern pictured.... but will physically fit any 2dr from 72-77. the 70-71 rear seats are different because of the placement of the seatbelts, and 4dr seats are all together different

now isnt it the 73-77 sides are different because of the shoulder strap, I know on my 72 the shoulder straps are add-on's for the most part that get hung from the roof when I am not using them
