Just got this one BACK today. Yes, I got rid of it a few years back and ended up getting it back again. Floors are shot, but overall the car's not that bad. It's got some good stuff left(sport lamp switch, rear defrost)and it's kinda odd as it appears to never had sport mirrors. Base 200/auto car, manual steering, cloth/vinyl seats, deluxe door panels. I've got 1 v8 conversion left, as well as a spoiler set and 5-lug stuff. The grill, headlights are with it, just removed for whatever reason. Should I build it?

My mind says scrap it but my heart says restore it...lol

I hate seeing old cars destroyed though, even if it is for parts, instead of looking at what it is, look at what it could be. :thumbs2:

Sounds like the 1984 Trans Am I have. After giving it away 5 times, it always has found it's way home and returned to me. I figure that for some reason or another I was meant to build it and eventually I will.

To me, it sounds like you were meant to build this one. I would build it and make it into the Maverick you always wanted to build if I were in your place.

    Just adding my thoughts,
    -Scott H.

yeh if its back again, you should do some thing with it , you don't have to restore it, but make it some thing you want to keep, drag car , or built what ever way you always wanted one...to me if its back its where IT wants to be ,and that has to make it cool enough to do some thing with it?

    i agree.

my deciding factor would be the cowls. if they're good then build it, if not then part it out :thumbs2:
