Ok maybe it took me closer to 2 hours than 4. I don't have a lot of the tools or equipment I need so sometimes it takes me longer. Plus, this is the first time I've ever tried anything like this... Did you put the headers on with the engine out of the car? Just giving you a hard time! Even though I didn't raise the engine, it is running great! I had a mechanic come review what I've done so far, and so far it's all good!
Most headers on this era of Fords require at least picking the motor up to sneak the driver side header in ... gets tight around the steering mostly, as you have found out. Had to sneak mine in from underneath, too. Passenger side is usually easier.
