    I merged Riporter's and Seth's threads together.

How much does it cost to list a car on E-bay? I asssume that if the auction is not won, the seller still has to pay for the listing fees?

Go back and look at it again.

    Ebay Fees

Ebay has a different set of rules on big ticket items like cars and houses.

For cars and trucks you pay a $40 fee to list and a $40 fee when you get your first bid. The second fee is payed when you get a starting bid OR the first bid that meets or exceeds the reserve price. Kinda expensive when you think about it to just put up a BS auction like this one. One good thing is its a flat fee, no final value fees added at the end.

    Mighty Mighty Fishy

Well, It does seem fishy, and i do think they're in on it some how.

but i think they accidentally put the wrong miles, or didnt put anything...so it put 0. but the funny thing is they said "garage kept and runs great"

well in the picture it's in like 2 different locations(outside) and how could it run great with 0 miles, no one would be able to drive it to find out. plus every car brand new from factory has at least 1 or 2 miles just moving it on lot. lol. funny thing though.

No,you only get charged the other $40 if the car meets the reserve price and sells,or sells without a reserve price set. They don`t charge you $40 extra just because you get 1 bid on it.

It looks to me like all pictures are in same location but different angles but, why the brick under the rear tire? Is that a tach behind the shifter? did three gauge panels come stock? HMM?

That is what I said / meant.

You pay $40 when you get the first bid (with no reserve) - OR THE FIRST BID over your reserve price. Many people do not put reserves. If you list the car with a $25 starting bid with no reserve, and get a bid, you pay the extra $40.

Here is the quote and link to ebay:
