bought all of the parts need to make the disc brake swap from a 1974 to my 73 maverick. everything fits except the lower ball joints. all of the part numbers i have looked up suggest that the lower ball joints are the same from 70 thru 77. any ideas on why my lower joints do not fit, they tappered shaft is way to small.
Mustang Steve.com . He has tapered bushings to correct that problem I believe you have Lincoln Versailles spindles . They are the same as Maverick except for the lower ball joint taper.
