I used to be on this board back in 1998-2000 when I had a green 1970 Maverick. It was left behind when I went to college. I am now the proud owner of a 1976 2-door Maverick. It has a 302. P/b,p/s,a/c. The body is in awesome condition. No noticeable dings at all!!! The only thing is...it doesn't run. So I have to tear the engine apart. But who cares, I paid 600 bucks for it! I have found another Maverick. 1973 4-door in Lakewood near Visalia. I'm in California. I will keep you guys up on my Restomod project. I gaurantee it will be different than most Mavericks out there.

    thanks....

I don't have a digital camera. I think Ican get a disposable one and they will transfer it to cd for me. At least that's what the comercial said. Is there anyway I can get shop manuals or books that have Maverick repairs in them...Like a Chilton book?

Thanks to all for the encouragement...

I realized I;m not taking anything out without a cherry picker and a engine stand. Plus my tool box is a little incomplete. So I will be delayed in actaully fixing the car until I get some more tools. I have another question. Can I build everything up. Then leave the stock manifold on for smog purposes.
I want to put in the E-303 cam but I'm not sure if it will dirty my exhaust too much. With Performer heads, headers, and 9:1 pistons. Will it pass?
