I have a 71, 302, 2 door, I want a smoother ride. I have stock front springs and rear leafs with shocks...I'm considering air shocks for the rear and possibly the front but have never used them to do the conversion with 100% confidence. Has anyone done this and what was used. Also, what do you think? Any issues?

air shocks will give you a stiffer ride with any amount of air in them. Some say they will rip the brackets off the floor pan but ive never had any bad luck with them on my car but i will say i plan on a set of regular gas shocks soon.

I never seen air shocks for the front. Air shocks in the rear are not a good idea. There has been several threads about the effects they have and most if not all were not good. I ran them in the past on the rear but I never filled them to the max. After seeing the pics of what they do I will not use them.
