how bout some details on the engine for us?

 

it has no engine right now it will soon be a 460 big block with a 92mm turbo i will post some details of the old setup tonight i am at work

 

Let me know how that works out. I've got a 429 CJ just sitting in the garage. Could be a fun project for me as well!

Man it's gonna be a barn burner with a turbo 460, I can't wait to read all about the new set up... The old set up was cool and congrats for being so different with your builds.......

 

it is going to be a stock 460 grenade i am going to see the limits of a stock bottom end it is a truck 74 madel with ported d3ve (junk) heads and a 500 lift summit cam stock intake and manifols and alot of boost i think if there was no limit to the bottom end than i can make like over 800 at the crank with 20+ boost i am basically wanting to see what a stock big block can do with a turbo i havent really seen it done before

 

everyone says they know the limit of a stock battom end but few have actually been there and done it especially with a turbo they are a little easier on the bottom end that nos or a blower i would think

 

make sure to put a early (69-71) timing chain in it

blow through carb i assume LMK if ya need some carb help

I had one pushing 800, but it was the 4 bolt block. If you can get your hands on one, get an early 70's block (I cannot remember the part number at the moment, but they are much stronger than a standard 460).
