Hi everyone, I am new to this site. I thought I would tell you about my 351 swap. I got the old 302 out Saturday, and am still trying to get my 1 5/8" primary headers to clear. I will post more with pictures and part numbers as soon as I am done for all of you contemplating the swap.

Hedman 88300. They are for a 302. but look like they will work so far.
hedman doesn't make 351 swap headers for the maverick, but these headers are the same as early mustangs, and they make 351 swap headers for early mustangs. I imagine those are the ones to get, but didn't see it before I ordered.

Not sure 302 headers will work. Since the 351W is wider their headers hug the engine more than the 302 headers. Let us know what you have to do. Good luck. :)

Before I built my garage, all of my Maverick work depended on the weather report. I sure know how that feels.

I'm originally from N.J. You can have you're here. I like mine better. Went 4 wheeling in the hills yesterday. :)
