I chose other. My 71 Mav that I just got is a restomod. My 72 comet on the other hand will look stock but have a 347 stroker and five speed. I love the looks of these cars but improved for better performance and handling so they can be driven and enjoyed.

Me too! I love being able to destroy tires at will and run sub 12 second quarter mile times. Will it do it when I'm done??? Maybe. I still want to drive it and enjoy it plus I would like to do it under 10K so I'll probably have to pass on the sub 12's for now.

I had to pick all three ... I want my Comet to look like it left the factory armed with the best stuff they could put in the car ... 351, Magnums, Grabber spoiler, 3:55 gear. Then, after getting it home a few simple changes were made like headers and dual exhaust, minor engine mods and chrome.

Not afraid to change it for the better, but want it to look like it came that way ... if that makes sense. Subtle mods.

I think the original body lines of the Mavericks and Comets should be "left alone" and any improvements should be in the mechanical , or creature comfort areas. New engine , drivetrain, interiors, Modern AC units , sound systems, auto dim mirrors , updated cooling systems, siamese exhaust and then paint it a color of your choice . Nuff said .. Cometized :)

I put "restorer" because my car is totally original except for rims and tires and a few bolt on items. I also chose "other" because I may want to do some engine mods someday, nothing to change the block, more like bolt on cool stuff.
