The weather stripping on my doors has shrunk over time leaving some gaps and letting cold air/water/snow into my car.

Is the weather stripping fairly universal?
like, can i go to a part's shop and get 30 feet of "weather stripping" and just mold it to fit on the door?

I have no mechanical know-how as this is my first car (my dad and I just replaced the radiator (www.rockauto.com, only $250.00 CAD for a brand new radiator!)

Any info would be great, as i can't even bring my car to a car wash right now haha.

It's not universal weather stripping. Auto Krafters sells weather stripping made just for Mavericks/Comets. I'm sure you could make something work, but how good it would be, or how long it would last is another question..

Look into auto krafters and steel rubber products they have the correct door seals.. a roll of weather striping wont have the clips built into them to attach to the doors... They should be molded to fit the door or I don't think they will stay on.... JMO
