So now that I have my fuse panel all cleaned up I wanna add 2 new fuse blocks. I want to add one with constant power (for the power door locks,radio memory) and one that's switched (gauges, fuel pump etc). I'm wondering how to do that. I've already identified the main wires coming off the harness that I would need to run to the new fuse blocks. The question I have is, do I need a relay for these new blocks? Or can I just run extensions from the thick yellow wire and the thick black/green wire to the new fuse panels?

Would this diagram work for me? My battery is in the trunk so I would probably mount the relay in the trunk and the fuse panel under the dash. I was thinking I'll then run the accessory wire from the relay over to a fuse block and connect all the terminals on one side in series and then use the other side to run to each item I'm powering (radio, gauges...)
This is the set up i have. http://www.canyonchasers.net/shop/generic/relay.php But i ran two of the strips so i have 16 key hot power's and 16 grounds and also have another fuse block set up with 12 constant power hook ups.It's all mounted on a board behind the backseat and all my relay's are on the same board.
mo. take power for you new fuse blocks from the junction post we put under your dash on the drivers side kick panel. for the switched on you should be fine taking that from the black/green wire.
so is the below diagram correct? I can leave the relay under the dash then since I don't have to run it all the way in the trunk next to the battery. and then how do I create a fuse block for a constant on?
that diagram wont work. heres how a relays posts are i dont think you need one. for the power fuse block you just need to take a power wire from the junction post streight to the fuse block. for the switched one you should be able to splice a wire into the black/green wire that goes into the new fuse block you just put in. i would take the spade connector that plugs into the fuse block and put another wire toghter with that wire in a new conector. then run that wire to the new fuse block. i would just add one new fues block and split up the fuses to how ever many circuts you need to be hot all the time and how many you need to be on when the car is on. also the black/green wire is only on when the key in in the run or start position. it doesnt turn on in the acc position.
