    I had a 1970 maverick when I was younger. I regret selling it. I have a 1977 pinto with a 302. I would like to get a Maverick again.

    Try to find a Pinto with a 2.8 V6 (rare). the V8 drops right in. Same motor mount.

    I hope ur able to acquire another Mav. I bought my 73 Comet last July in Iola, Wis., the guy I got it from had three there for sale. You might want to check there and the one in Madison this spring. If u never been to Iola they have a lot of cars in the corral and more at the auction.

    Back in the day, we had a Vega and a Pinto both running 427 big block Chevys in towns 20 miles apart. Try as we may, we could never get them together in one place at one time.
