Hey guys, I see this cheapo radiator on ebay and was wondering what you guys think. I have a 76 with a 250...It says it will fit but what do you guys think? The price is awesome too... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item414c8440a3
That is an insane low price for an aluminum radiator. It shows all of these "testmonials" to their great radiators but the seller only has a feedback rating of 1. It "looks" like it will work.
Exactly what I was thinking also...I noticed that after further examination. He has other auctions and none nearly as low in price - but then again, none for this car I'll make a decision within the next couple hours - obviously
Just did a google and a yellow pages search for san jose.ca with no results for christian radiator. I think I would wait till they have some feedback before I sent them my money.
Did some more research and diggin on the testimonials names. The common ebay purchase to them all is Monsterradiator. They seem to have a few ebay stores managed under that name.
For that price, I would buy it and rely on Ebay's policies to cover your butt if the deal is less than pleasing. Not sure, but I think if you pay with paypal, you are sorta insured against fraud. May want to look into that...
No my top bid was just over $90 and the guy stumped me toward the end lol....I'm not sweating it, my radiator is fine but this would have been a nice replacement for when I redo my entire engine bay and make it eye candy thanks for the research by the way Also, ebay does have some sort of fraud coverage and they do reimburse for I believe up to $2k. Not sure about paypal though, but thats how I always pay. The only thing I bought but never recieved was an $8 video game and they gave me that money back if I remember correctly (ebay that is)
I knew ebay bidding was safe, but I wasn't sure if it was ebay, paypal, or both that offered protection.
