A little more Maverick looking than anything I've seen

[IMG]Here's one with nostrils on the hood. That's more like a Maverick! (And kind of like every other import car out there as well).

i wouldnt buy one but then again if they did produce them to the public the demand for the original maverick you be through the roof. i was reading another thread and he was saying that one day the maverick will be like the mustangs today. and if they came out with a new maverick that would speed it up and if that happens so glad i bought mine before it hit

I like the one in the post above, and would buy it in a second. The one in the first post...it depends on how cheap it is...

And it better be MUCH cheaper than the current mustang, with the same engine, and 500 lbs less weight.

And the cowls better be rusting on the show-room floor, or it isn't a "real" Maverick.

I'll never buy a brand new car, because it's a huge waste of money. So no, I wouldn't buy one. I definitely like the one indyman posted better, though.

    Don't believe everything you read.

It looks OK to me -scoops and all.
I wud have to see the entire car. I wud consider it w\ more info on the entire package. It looks different than the most new pony\muscle cars coming on the scene.
In some cases the old saying "They don't make them like they use to" is not my philosphy. I wud'nt go back to 4wh drum brakes, 6volt batteries, monoral radios, or bias ply tires. I suppose that's enough of an analogy. In a lot of cases change is beneficial. I wud'nt want to live in a world where everything remains the same. >>>>IMO:bananaman

I own my maverick, in large part, due to nostalgia. My first car was a maverick, so it has a special place in my heart. I would have no such attachment to a new car carrying the same model name.

I just bought a new Focus, and I love it. Fun to drive and I like the electronics....until they go bad! If they built a new Maverick, I would probably get one to go with my 69.5, so I would have a matched set..old and new!!!
