paint engine bay

what paint should i use for this?

well its red right now pulled the motor to put in a new steering box and im going to repaint the motor so figured id repaint the bay too just so everything looks fresh. was thinking about just going with a black in the bay

 

Semi Gloss Black looks nice.

 

well thats what i was going for but like what type of spray paint like to hold the heat from the engine and headers?

 

rustoleom #7777 matches the tone that ford used on the satin black

 

and that can handle the heat ?

 

cant you get that at like homedepot?

 

It holds up fine as long as it isnt sprayed on the exhaust manifolds no problem with radiant heat
