dash is now black

    dash came out nice.had a couple mishaps though.my headlight switch bezel disinegrated on me and the pins on my temp control panel broke all the way.it used to JUST hang up there in plce now it wont at all.would anyone know if ak sells the ac vent chrome bezels.i 've asked around on "the parts wanted" for the panel and switch bezel.hope i get some bites

    What is up with that stitched pad? Did you make that, have it made, or was it on the car already?

    Or is that what you did and started the thread about.

    I like it a lot!!!

    i had to send fred a sample for myback seat.hes making me covers.i think the first thing he said when i sent him pics of my interior was that it had already been redone once.now he was talking about the seats but maybe when they did the seats someone did something to the dashpad.and i'll beat a dead horse,my dash was the ONLY thing in the inside of my car that wasnt faded or completely dryrotted.it really took the dye great.i always cover my car up when i dont drive it.i dont have a garage.so hopefully the dye wont fade.we used an adhesion promoter fred recommended for a prep

    so the dash had that stitched cover originally?

    That looks great, nice stitching and black is very cool.

    the metal part could have used some wetsanding but we painted it in place

    What u paint the dash with, spraycans or something else? My dash cud stand a redo; hopefully I can get to it this summer. I have so many other things to do that's not top priorty.
