Well, when/if he gets back to me, I hope to. The only problem is that it is 8 1/2 hours away.

How much is he asking for the possible Sprint?

    $2000

Then of course I would have to get it back here (only after seeing it in person). So I'll have to travel the 8.5 hours to see it, set up shipping if I like it, and travel the 8.5 hours back.

The cheaper I can do all of that the better, so we will see.

    door tag and other pics

So it is a Sprint. He actually said it was, but I didn't want to say anything until I saw the tag. Their is rust in the quarters, and the front fenders are off another Maverick because they were "less" rusty than the originals. He has the original seat, but it is in worse condition than the one that is in it now.

So the history of the car. The current owner has owned it for 6 years. He's made a few passes, and runs about 15 seconds. When he does race it, he uses the 3 speed (floor mount), otherwise he has a 4 speed in it for daily driving. The previous owner (who had the car for 20 years) was an older man who couldn't remember exactly what engine was put in it when the original was replaced, but it is either an 80's or 90's 302. Also, the 3 speed isn't original as the older gentleman took the original in for a rebuild and it was just replaced with another. The engine is stock as far as the current owner knows except for a Holley 450.

    Now the pics:

Better look that one over real well. If it has as much rust hiding as it looks like it does, I'd have a hard time giving more then 1000-1200 for it.

X3....If the rust is limited to the body, then you'll be fine..but if it's it the cowl, torque boxes, and rear frame rails..it's junk no matter what it is.
