Decals on your Mavericks and Comets windows, got any?

Stickers stuck on cars, and "hella", two things that get on my nerves.

 

"Theres a little cougar in this Mercury Comet" on my rear drivers window and SLAYER on the backglass.

Yeah and i sure got some.

 

It was on the car when I got it and its kind of retro so I left it when we put the glass back in. Had an old Texas inspection sticker and an old racetrack event sticker on the windshield but it was cracked and I couldnt save them.

 

I love the vintage stickers that you see on an old car unless they are cracked to hell and look bad, then take 'em off. I have too many decals on my Comet and plan on removing a few of the really crappy ones in the spring.

 

I'll get pics later but,i have a midweststreetcars.com stick(local race board)My NRA Sticker,and my India Shrine Emblem. on my back window.

 

I forgot to mention my hearst decal in my rear window doing a slight wheely with a demon driving it with one of those long gear shifters sticking way out high.

I'll post a picture of the decal when i get the time.

 

I have a couple of Hot Rod Power Tour registration stickers on the inside of the windshield ... 1999 and 2000. I went in 1998, too, but I don't think they had decals at that point.

Had to finally give in and peel off the Power Tour vinyl visor lettering ... it was getting un-readable ... sun-baked.

 

I have 2 small Cragar decals in each 1/4 window as "back in the day",(early 70's") you were not allowed headers,traction bars,air shocks,or Decals in the windows in PA.,so kinda in protest of those laws we put small Cragar or American Racing decals in the corner or the 1/4 glass,the cops didn't bother us with them.Now blowers sticking through the hood,slicks,no fenders on Hot Rods is leagal...go figure!

The Thrusher woodpecker i also have in my quarter window and i have had one in all my cars, that sticker goes back with my family since i was old enough to like cars. My Thrusher sticker is badly faded and not worth posting a picture of, i don't even think that they make them any more.

 

i have stickers for my shop on my car. dont have any direct pics of them but they are caught in some other pics. the only other pics is for chappels fabrication shop. he did my cage and part of my exhast. he gave me a great deal so im willing to put his sticker on my car. i feel that for me to advertise for some one they have to give me something.
