Comet GT Hood Template

    Does anyone have a template or know any company that produces one for the blackout portion of the Comet GT hood? Or, if a company produces a decal, that would be good, too. I know that Graphic Express has none.

    Is your hood still original paint? Take it over to them, and get one made.

    Don't you think I already would have done that if it was original? Both GT's have non original hoods and one is in primer. Anybody else?

    Anybody out there with an original hood who is willing to take measurements off it. Or, does anyone have an original hood with the blackout on it for sale?

    Most of the Graphics companies are selling stripes and templates licensed by Ford. They may be limited in what they can sell based on their licensing agreement.

    On the other hand, Graphic Express did do a custom color for my Grabber Stripes, so it might be worth starting there. Their technical guy was super helpful and I received my custom order in a matter of days.

    Those are the measurements off of my Green GT. As far as I know, it is all original.

    the guy at graphic express said he could make a stencil if he had the measurements off a orginal wish i had them so i could have one made for my 75 comet

    No problem.. I seen it and thought it had what you might be looking for (along with some clarifications lol). Also, if need be, I can measure stuff off of my 72 GT.
