I found my 2 dr 77 maverick about 2 years ago after a couple months of looking for an okay inexpensive classic car, I saw it in an iwanta, had no idea what a maverick looked like so I googled it and thought it looked awesome, went and bought it for 800 the next day.

It's in pretty good shape, only 60k miles, the only thing I had to replace was the ignition coil so it runs great now, interior isn't bad, I'm working on getting weather stripping all around(stuff is crazy expensive) and then getting it painted.

    My first mav a 71 302 car for 50 bucks. 1987.
My current car 5000 with extra parts. Full set of glass, front disc parts, 5 lug rear axle complete. Lots of little stuff. Consolette.
Hard to find rust free cars now. Especially up here. Looked at a lot of cars that look good in pictures but too rusty. Not so much as a pinhole on this one.

I had arranged to pay $100. I was helping a fellow ebayer go and pick up 2 mavericks. After helping to get his car properly loaded and being a good guy...I wound up paying $0 !!!

I paid $350 for my first '70 Maverick. It needed lots of rust repair, but it came with a 302 that I rebuilt and is now in my current '73 Maverick.

I bought my '73 Grabber a little over 3 years ago for $4500 and it had a decent interior, very nice aluminum-headed 302, reverse manual valvebody c4, 4.62 gears with a spool. It was set up for drag racing. I have since detuned it in a way to make it streetable and easily have $2k into it.

Mine was a 72 Comet Gt. My dad bought it for me when I turned 16. I'm 37 now and still driving it. He paid 3000 for it. It still is the 6c color (medium rod gold). It was repainted, had black interior, buckets, console shift auto, 302 and had the fake magnum 500's. I still remember the day I pulled up to high school in it. WOW I will never sell this car. EVER. Thanks Dad. We enjoy it all summer together at our drag races. Now has a 408w. Lots of fun..

I paid 200 bucks for my first maverick - which was my 3rd car, it ws a 77 4 dr, 250 I6, runnig and driving. Which lasted 8 months. Tranny gave up and I sold her. that was 11 ys ago.

I paid 500 bucks for my current mav. Its a 70 2dr, originally with a 170 I6 auto. It started and idled like **** but some how smoged and ran like a champ, just very slowly! No interior except a cracked dash, a set of mid 80's escort bucket seats. That was 2 yrs ago. I love that car more each day!
