Will guys and gals, I have never owned a Mavericke before a couple weeks ago. Now I must say....I run their wheels off while they tried to beat me, but then I was a big block Mopar man. I just purchased a 1973, 2dr, 302, C4, all numbers matching, 65K original, 3rd owner. What I would like to do is turn this into a pony car for street and strip. I need bucket seats and a good 3rd member and then help with finding brakes that will stop it. I am open for suggestions and welcome all. If you have something that could help? Welcome to the board. Post in the parts wanted section to see if anyone has the bucket seats and tracks. Later Mavericks and Comets had front disc brakes. Also Granadas are a good source. Type in to the search function for lots of info. The Maverick Comet Group will be having their 4th annual Gathering in July in Joplin, Mo. and the Maverick Comet Club Int. will be 1 week later in Hannibal, Mo. At the Gathering on Thursday evening (the 15th) we will be at Mokan Drag Strip.
