I'm converting my 1970 Mav to a five lug. What rear brake drums are compatable with a 1975 Maverick five lug? (Having trouble finding them at the local auto parts outlets) and after reading all the threads on wheels sizes; I found these at summit racing:
    [IMG]Wheel, 141 Legend 5, Aluminum, Gunmetal, 15 in. x 7 in., 5 x 4.50 in. Bolt Circle, 3.75 in. Backspace. Will they fit with a -7.00mm offset and 83mm center bore diameter?

Drums should be available at any auto parts place. Rock Auto has them for sure.

i couldnt find 5 bolt drums for 9" brakes so i had to switch to 10" backing plates and brakes.

Couldn't you just re-drill the originals?

I do not have the originals. Trying to keep it within a reasonable budget, rockauto has them them listed at $110 a piece. Any help on the wheels?

Was your original rear a late 1970 with an 8" 4 lug? If so, just swap over the 10"x 1 3/4" backing plate brakes and buy new 5 lug drums. They are only around $25.

If your old rear was not an 8", you can probably pick up the needed brakes used in the classifieds.
