Was looking at the front tucked in look of the 73 bumper and was wondering what difficulties anyone has encountered when doing the swap? Or is it an easy swap with small modifications?

Will anything need to be trimmed when doing this or does that only apply to the small bumper conversion?

I put the 73 mav bumper and lower valence on my comet (74 mav front fenders and hood) it fit but stuck out to far and the valence doesn't quite fit. after a slight bit of persuasion on the valence it fits(kind of) and looks ok. the bumper was another story. I thought I could just push back the bumper mounts. Maybe, but mine weren't budging so I gave up on that. I fabricated bumper mount to push it back and I cut the 74 rubber? piece behind the bumper to fit. Looks ok but, I will be going to the 72 style bumper some day(after a major steering and suspension overhaul, rollcage, and a long list of other things)
