Hello, my name is Alicia Owen and this is my first time as a member. I have a quick question about the front shocks of my daughter's 1970 Maverick. I was going to change the front shocks and I thought it was supposed to be easy. All the screws are loosened, but it doesn't come out the top like I thought. How does one take them out?

I've always taken them out the top. Never had a problem, but if yours absolutely wont fit, you can take the 3 nuts off the top mount and pull the mount off to give you more clearance.
