My car and motor is 2.5 hours away so I can't run to the garage to double check so I ask the maverick people for a verification for me:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

302 manual transmission mavericks/comets came with a 28 oz 157 tooth flywheel using a 10 inch clutch correct?

I've searched my self into sillyness and I think I'm correct I just want to make sure. When I get to my car I'm an hour away from a rinky dink parts house and I just want to be 100 percent prepared so I don't have to waste valuable time.

All goes well after 5 years (I know, I know) of being on jackstands it should be operational next weekend :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing::thumbs2:. Better late than never. LOL

Yep, they came from the factory with a 157 tooth flywheel and 10 inch clutch.
All you have to do now is find out if it is all original or oe replacement.

My Comet GT came from the factory with a 164 tooth and 10 inch clutch.

Yea, it confused me too. I also thought they were all 157. It may have been changed sometime in its life but I'm the 3rd owner and the story I got with the car makes me believe it is all original. No way to know for sure.
