    I bought my 74 250 I6 for $1500 in good running shape in 2010.

    4000... i talked him down from 5500. But due to that fact it was a survivor, with original everything, 54000 miles, and no rust... Redone baby blue paint job,

    It seems i paid alot for it, but i love it

    Yeah right. I paid 5000 with mostly original paint then stripped it. Rust free cars get pricy the further North you go. SVOPRO(2 owners ago) did a great job on the drivetrain though. Still runs strong.

    traded a tarus i gave 200 bucks 4 20 grand on rebuild trans rebuilt guy wanted 600 traded car and he gave me 100 boot

    Paid $600 for the 74' grabber back in 2005 and jamie fixed it up. (y) Wouldn't have graduated high school without that car.

    also got my 76 mav for a late 16th bday present from a friend. needs tranny and electical but soon this V8 will be cruisin everywhere after the drivers floor pan is replaced. the seat is nearly falling through haha

    i got my 77 comet for $900 from a buddy he gave me a good deal on caigslist ive seen comets/mavericks in the save condition for about $2

    I got my 73 comet from a very sweet lady .She was 92 years young at the time . IT WAS YELLOW WITH A WHITE TOP. SADLE TAN BUCKET SEATS AND TAN INT.It had 46000 mi . auto ,302, ps ,air ugly...Now it black on black ,black int, .pb, pw, pdl, pt pa,,am/fm stereo,home made counsel,lots of chrome under the hood,only chrome on body is ft and rr bumpers ,wheels. It has a all steel grille home made and looks just like the org. neve been out of AZ .No rust never bent.Now it has 63000 miles.All numbers match.drive train has never been opened. 4 gauges in center of dash oil press. eng temp, volts,fuel , runs great.AND IT IS FOR SALE. ALL THIS FOR ONLY $8595.00

    Bought mine a year ago for 1,000 even. 1975 4 door 250cid auto column shift with the split power bench seat out of a late model taurus (that doesnt fit very well but works) everything works on the car its all orginal never molested the A/C even works. Now everyhting needs to be re done and the engine leaks more oil the exxon valdize, but its been a daily driver since i bought and still is. :drive:
