Back when my son was 16, I gave him a red '69 XR7 conv for his birthday. He drove the car through high school and swore to never sell it. He went off to college and the car sat in my garage for a year. He saw a '69 Mach 1 he wanted worse, so we sold the XR7 to help fund the Mach. After a 3 year, concourse quality restoration and many thousands of dollars later, the car was finished. The car was an S code(390) 4 speed, factory A/C, fold down back seat, am/fm, ps,pdb, Indian Fire Red/ white interior. Stunning car. We went to shows together like we did when he had the Cougar for a year after graduation from UF.

The economy went into the dumper and he wanted to go back and get his MBA at UF. To make that happen, the car had to go. He put it on a Mustang forum similiar to this one. A guy flew down from Tenn, wire transferred 30K into his account and drove it home. He graduates from UF on May 1st with an MBA degree. He has a good job lined up in Tampa.

    Life changes. Never say never.

    Jim

    Come to think of it.
A fully functioning M1 Abrahms Tank, with 300 shells and a crew to help me shoot stuff.

I'll help farmers with their gopher problems.
