    Door hinges

There are a lot of other mid-70s Fords with the same style hinges, and most of the time you can grab passenger side units and flip them over. Passenger side hinges are usually in better shape than the driver side.

There was a post here about other cars that use these same hinges, a search ought to turn that up.

Hey guys, this guy has been emailing back and forth for the past few years about getting Brazilian parts to us. His website shows that he has lots of interesting things available for us.

Of course, it will take a couple of transactions for him to get a trustworthy trader rating, etc but someone should have a couple bucks and the desire for a hard-to-obtain part to help him get that.

here is the website for parts he has on the internet for sale. http://lista.mercadolivre.com.br/_CustId_6262843_DisplayType_G

It is up to the Free Market for him to succeed or fail as fit. Hope it works out and he is a decent source for good parts. Here is a quote from him regarding shipping prices (english is poor, but can be figured out with minimal thought)...

I personally built my own grille like this because I didnt know I could buy them and this is where I got the idea. It cost me total of $12 for materials and all I have to do now is get it chromed, but I am really interested in the side pipes simply because its cool, that and maybe a full length consol.

    Greetings from Brazil,

Well guys, I have the opposite problem. I'm dying for some of yours Maverick parts because it is almost impossible to find them in Brazil. I'm looking for the automatic column shift dial and the front bench seat. Here, automatic V8 Mavericks are very hard to find, and I have one of these. In fact, I want to change the shift floor to column (I know, usually, most people do the opposite). But, you know, I think this old american configuration (column shift) is very charming and, for sure, rare in Brazil. So, if somebody has these parts to sell please let me know. By the way, I have great experience buying in the brazilian classic cars parts market and can help who wants to bring some of our parts. In comparison, we have a stronger market of Maverick parts so you americans seems to like only the Mustangs (hehe). You have every Mustang's imaginable part and almost nothing of Maverick's! Another interesting difference is that here we almost don't have NOS parts, only used ones.

Best regards to all american Maverick's fans.

    Alexandre

May be best to send a PM. This thread hasn't been posted on in almost a year, and the user you are speaking to hasn't been online since Sep. 2009. The shipping on those parts is going to be nuts! $$$ Good luck.
