For what your get a LS1 for, and what they can do, even is stock form, they are leaps and bounds beyond a 302.

Curious only on one thing love your entire setup, looks very clean and done right, but what rack and pinion steering did you use, because I ran into that problem when I started this project right now its sitting with the crossmember in and arms and no way to turn it I was told a mustang II would work but they also sell a setup in R&C so I was wondering whats worth it more.

Hit the quote button a particular post so that person will know who you're referring to. I didn't think you could get an R&C without the rack, but I could be wrong...

I switched racks to a unit from a Mustang Cobra I was parting out. I did buy an aftermarket non power Mustang II rack, and if it was installed without any spacers between the crossmember and rack it would hit the lower a-arm mount. So some kind of spacer would be required. If you drop the rack lower you will effect the bump steer so you have to be careful with that.
