    I had my drivers license for 2 months then! Had a '64 Falcon Sprint Convertible,260 V-8 ,4speed....man that doesn't seem like 40 yrs. ago!!! My Mav was born same year,same month.

    It is the first process of building a car, when the frame, floorpans and body shell gets welded together. Like the cars birthday ........... :thumbs2:

    The weld shops were a separate operation from the assembly line. This is where the term "buck tag" comes from - refering to the metal build tag that follows the shell around to ID it before it reaches the assembly line.
