Just got back from the end of the Power Tour in Mobile Alabama. I'll add some more pics as soon as I get time. Some totally awesome cars there. Only saw one Maverick though...orange with shaker hood...other than my white Stallion that is. :)

Looked interesting. I have this crazy dream involving a really stupid engine swap in a Chevette. They are very light, and of course RWD.

Hey Ray I was the orange Maverick with the shaker and I wish we had more time to talk but it was so hot there I just wanted to get on the road. The Power Tour was a blast again! This was my third long haul in a row and the 5th power tour I have done. If anyone is thinking of going in 2011 all I can say is DO IT! This is the neatest thing I have done with cars becuase we drive them. Nothing cooler than a rolling car show for 7 days, and every stop is a mini show be it a gas stop or lunch stop. The small towns we roll through welcome us with open arms and is probably the biggest thing to hit these towns, you feel like you are in a parade. Here is a pic of my car for those that don't know it. Oh yeah, neat collection of pictures, thanks for posting!

Glad you had a good time! That's quite a trip. Don't blame you for wanting to get on the road. I took quite a few pics of your car...very nice. Hopefully we can talk more the next time we meet up. I hope to be able to make one of those long hauls myself soon. (y)
