you gotta watch out with those burnouts and getting on it man.
you'll get in serious trouble. in the blink of an eye i was up around the 12 point mark and tons of fines. Be careful.

my first vehicle was a hand me down 89 Nissan Pickup that my parents let me drive. For a four banger light duty truck, it was a lot of fun. it also turned my mind around about those other kids with imports. your car doesn't HAVE to look like it came out of a cereal box if its from japan.

I got t-boned in an intersection and the truck rolled(i had to get out of the passanger window, then the top of the car; kinda cool in hindsight but i was scared out of my mind at the time ;)) which rendered my poor truck pretty tore up. It was still driveable(the japanese know how to build something that won't die, let me tell you) so i drove it for a couple months, until my parents decided that since my brother was getting his license soon, they'd invest in a newer car. We got a 92 Toyota Cressida which i loved(inline six, rear wheel drive...sound familiar? ;)) but sadly, after 5 months of driving it myself, my brother wrecked it after his second week of having a license. it was totalled unfortunatly.

so, i set out to find a new car. my friend was selling his maverick to buy a gmc s-15, and told me i could have it, and all the spare parts he'd rounded up for $600. i jumped on the deal, and couldn't be happier.

...tho i think i'd probably get another cressida if i had the chance. too bad the newest of them is 12 years old now.

not to piss you off intentionally Anguris, but i think a maverick will beat a toyota any day of the week.<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_69930", true); </SCRIPT>

oh definatly. the mav is of course my favorite...but there are days when i miss efi, 4 wheel power discs, leather interiors and cowls that don't leak ;)

momentary fits of insanity, i assure you!
