Last time I bought gas at PC was in 1989, and the only reason I did, was I was going to run out, in the middle of the country.... I guess it was worse when it was owned by the government...(HJ over)
I only used PC when no other choice. Government gets enough of my money. I guess I can use it now Suncor owns it.
No badges on my Maverick, I've had people ask if it is a Nova, Duster, Camaro, Mustang, Pinto. Some get close and ask if it's a Comet or Maverick.
i am not the car god, but between the tail lights and the front grill, i sure can tell the diff between maverick and comet.
everyone at my work thought my 72 was a nova... that is all i did and shook my head. then this guy got owned my his wife he as i was leaving one day he was like nice camaro. wife replied no hun thats a maverick. and winked at me
my favorite was when a guy asked me what year my charger was, and then there was another guy trying to sell me a 351 out of a maverick!
the other day at work, a guy comes up to me and asked if I was at the mustang car show over the weekend. I said yes. He then asked if that was my "purple pinto with ghost flames". I just rolled my eyes and said, "it's a Maverick, and yes that was mine"
68 camaro looks similar enough... shave back sidemarkers. shave and switch to tiny front side markers higher up... some low side scoops (mmmmm side scoops).
