I have had a Maverick since I was 16 years old, I received it from my Granfather. I started rebuilding it from the ground up 10 years ago and I am months away from finishing. I have been reading this forum for years, but never posted because my car was so far from being finished. I will share photos later. Though I promised myself I would to join once the car was finished, I felt I must share this.

I collect Maverick toys and was one of the 1st to purchase the maverick preview set from CNUSA. After not receiving my order I contacted them to get an update. The lady was RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and the worst person I have ever dealt with. She gave me some excuses about they usually do not accept AMEX, etc... but they realized later they needed a security code. She repeated that someone tried to conact me, NO ONE EVER CONTACTED ME!!!! THEY CANCELLED MY ORDER!!!!!!!!

She then blamed me for waiting so long to complain and never checked to see what happened, LAUGHED AT THE ISSUE SEVERAL TIMES!! She then told me she was talking slow because I was like a 4 year old!!!!

This is what these people think about those who own Mavericks!! I would not give them business!!!!!!!!

I had spoken to the same lady a while back. Granted it didn't sound like a big operarion, but she seemed very helpful. They didn't have the right credit card information, and she made the changes. No problems. :)

I would think before being critical of CNUSA, you might ask if others had the same or similar problems with them before flaming them. To each there own, I guess.

I am just surprised that someone would wait until there car was completed before joining the board. At that rate there woundn't be very many people on board, or be any need to help each other out as we went along.

Don't want sound harsh, just a little surprised that's all!
I think CNUSA did a great job with the cars, and I am sure once you get yours you will be pleased as the rest of us are. We have all been waiting for some time, and it was worth the wait!!! (y) (y)

    Welcome to the board.

    Thanks

Maverich Guy - The problem is that since it was the Preview set I am out of luck. The reason I waited to join was it is very difficult to see all those great cars when yours is in pieces. I am sure it will be worth it, but it has been a long road. Anway I appreciate the possitive words, I posted my info in the newbie section.
    :)

Well I am sure it's flustrating, like Frank said you can usually find them on Ebay, so maybe you can pick up a set. Also, maybe in another thread you can post what kind of toys etc. you have collected. It would interesting to see what you have picked up over the years. (y)

I also called and talked to a woman there. She told me they had just shipped them out and I should have mine by the end of that week. I did!

She wasn't rude, she was very nice.
Sorry you didn't get a car but have you looked on eBay?
Might cost you more but I'm sure someone is selling them.

    As always just my .02

I spoke with the same lady via email and she was a bit rude too, however I think that with the Charity cars some people (including myself) probably were calling and emailing frequently in regards to where they were. Everyone has a bad day, god knows I have had them at my job! Glad you were able to find some on ebay. And welcome to the board.
